Technologies & Dependencies

Datacenter Requirements

• Data Center: computing equipment, electricity conservation, temperature & humidity control, physical security
• Continuity Plan: Contingency planning, off-site backups, etc.
• Network Security: Network Perimeter, Routing & Hubs, Local Area Network (e.g. Firewall, Virus Watch)
• Server Security: Antivirus scanning, Tripwire notifications, event logging & log monitoring, etc.
• Backup: Filesystem, Server State, and Database—Scheduled full backup and nightly incremental
• High Availability or Rapid Recovery: Plan to ensure delivery of Service Level Agreement (SLA) promises regarding uptime to X nines
• Database Administration: Certified (Oracle or) Microsoft Database Administrator, either contracted or fractional FTE as appropriate
• Email: SMTP Relay (for notifications required by the content workflow/approval process)

Proprietary Dependencies

• Ephox EditLive (a license is included with CMS)
• Convera Full-Text Search Engine (prior to version 6.6; a license is included with CMS)
